Stryker: 5.56x45 Ball 55 gr SCP (Copper) – 50 Rounds
Stryker 5.56 Ball ammunition consists of Lake City brass, Boxer primers, and 55-grain solid-copper projectiles. All rounds are certified lead-free. This line of ammunition is 100% American-made and designed for range training.
All of our 5.56 ammunition is tested for function using an AR-15-style rifle with a 20" barrel and rifle-length gas system. Like the military, we expect our loaded rounds to have consistent firing and grouping!
Military Requirements: Because the components come from Lake City Ammunition Plant, the cases must be annealed to meet military specs. This does not mean the cases have been previously used. Unlike civilian rounds, the military requires visual proof of the annealing process. Annealing causes discoloration to the cases with the benefit of added durability.
While 5.56x45mm NATO rounds will fit in .223 Remington chambers, we do not recommend this round to be fired in the .223 Remington chamber as military rounds run at higher pressures than civilian .223 rounds.
