Stryker 5.56x45 NATO M855 62 gr FMJ Steel Core – 400 Rounds
Stryker 5.56 M855 ammunition consists of Lake City brass, Boxer primers, and 62-grain steel-core FMJ projectiles. This line of ammunition is 100% American-made and designed for range training.
All of our 5.56 ammunition is tested for function using an AR-15-style rifle with a 20" barrel and rifle-length gas system. Like the military, we expect our loaded rounds to have consistent firing and grouping!
Some, if not all, projectiles will lack the painted tip (green). This is because we receive our projectiles directly from the military as is, whether they are painted or not. This will NOT affect the accuracy or function of the rounds.
Military Requirements: Because the components come from Lake City Ammunition Plant, the cases must be annealed to meet military specs. This does not mean the cases have been previously used. Unlike civilian rounds, the military requires visual proof of the annealing process. Annealing causes discoloration to the cases with the benefit of added durability.
While 5.56x45mm NATO rounds will fit in .223 Remington chambers, we do not recommend this round to be fired in the .223 Remington chamber as military rounds run at higher pressures than civilian .223 rounds.
Factory 2nds:
These rounds pass all of our rigorous quality control standards. Still, they may contain cosmetic defects including, but not limited to, dings, scratches, pull-marks, pushed-in bullets, divots, discoloration, and tarnishing. In rare cases, these defects may cause undesired results when fired.
Purchaser assumes all risks with this product and should not assume it will function correctly in a firearm. Carefully inspect any and all rounds before loading and attempting to use them in your firearm.
