7.62x51 PRIMED CASES - 1000 CT

Received the 1000 rounds of 7.62 brass yesterday. All the same head stamp, bright and shiny, looks great. I may run it thru the Giraud to uniform the length, but otherwise it appears ready to load.

These are “pulls.” UNFIRED brass with primer in place. I bought a thousand of these primed Lake City cases a year or so ago. The ones I got were LC 18. I’ve shot about a 100 of these cases so far, with excellent results. I just drop powder and stuff bullets. In the current market, 21 cents for a primed .308 case this is one hell of a deal. Frankly, it was a hell of a deal before everybody started buying every box of ammo in North America. Caveats: • These are “pulled” cases • Cases show tarnish • Crimped primer (which I actually regard as a GOOD thing – but some people hate it.) • Military contract ammo, so not shiny like Walmart ammo • NECK-SEALER is still present in the necks. I don’t care. But some people hate it. • Ball powder will still be stuck to the neck sealer. I chucked a nylon RCBS case-neck brush in a drill and went at it. Knocked out 99% of the stuck leftover powder in a couple hours. YMMV depending on how anal you are about it. I swept up the powder I brushed out of the necks and threw a match to it and had a cool fire in the garage. • Cases are very shiny INSIDE. • The necks are mostly in good shape. 1% to 2% will show damage (splits or buckling) from the pulling process.

I had bought around 5k of the primed brass, while I have prepped a little over 1k for reloading. I have spot checked and found all have the same year, which is 2016. With it all being made around the same time and already primed, this is making reloading very easy. This is my go to company for my components! This is a better deal than once fired, for you dont have to tumble, deprime and reprime the brass. I am getting near 1/2 groups using this primer and brass.

Cases arrived within about 1 week. I brushed out the necks to remove factory sealant, and ran them through a redding neck die (de-prime pin removed) to reform the necks (slightly deformed from shipment). My hand loads with these cases worked well using copper hunting bullets, FMJs, and hollow point boat tails. These are going to last a long time, thank you American Marksman for a good product at a great price.

Looks good nice brass, three to one going into a match case gauge. AM is a preferred site on my list, going toward.

Wish I would have ordered more,so far I got a mix of 13 and 16 head stamp but for the price I cant complain for primed brass,hopefully they get more in soon ??
